Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Yesterday evening when I was defecating, I went through a lot of pain, and there was quite an amount of blood coming out too. I noticed that my anal end was swollen due to boils. I got panicked because I am only 17 years old right now. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

You are probably suffering from hemorrhoids. The bulge and blood in stools may be due to hemorrhoids. In addition, constipation or hard stools may cause hemorrhoid formation. Excessive straining during defecation also may aggravate the problem.

Avoid spicy food and caffeinated drinks. Eat a high-fiber diet, and exercise regularly with plenty of water.

I suggest Lactulose syrup of 30 mL at night. If symptoms have not improved, please consult your doctor. He will examine and treat you accordingly.

I hope you find it helpful.

Kind regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
