Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your blood sugars are quite high and the dose of medication (Metformin 500 mg twice a day) is becoming inadequate for you. You need to be started on stronger medicine. I would recommend you to take tablet Glycomet GP1 (Glimepiride and Metformin combination) in the morning and Metformin 1000 mg in the night. In addition to diet, I hope you are doing daily exercise; if not kindly do. Also, do get the following tests done and revert back. CBC (complete blood count), serum creatinine, HbA1c (glycated hemoglobin), serum sodium and potassium.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
