Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 67-year-old female. Dealing with high blood pressure for 20 years, anxiety, high cholesterol, and type 2 diabetes for six years. My goal or preference would be to not be taking medications but heal through homeopathy, vitamins, and a healthy lifestyle. It seems that the underlying problem is my mental state, such as anxiety, wanting to hide from everyone, and depression (not being able to move and do what I often think about).

I am under the following medications:

1) Metformin, but I have recently dropped from 1000 mg twice a day to 500 twice a day due to my change in diet.

2) For high blood pressure I am taking Losartan with Hydrochlorothiazide 200, 23.5 mcg, and Metoprolol 12.5 mg.

3) For anxiety and sleep issues, I am taking Quetiapine 100 mg at bedtime.

My way of eating is trying to stay under 50 carbohydrates a day (but have a problem with night eating and craving sugar), and I practice intermittent fasting 18/6 and sometimes 24-hour fasting.

I sedentary lifestyle. As much as I often think about exercise, I do not seem to be able to force myself to do what is needed. My cholesterol is LDL 300 H, triglycerides 159 H, HDL 47 and VLDL 30.

Kindly guide me.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Based on the above history, I suggest you take Aconite 200 c (five pills to make a dose) once daily in the evening hours. And if at any point you feel anxious, you can take an additional dose of the same on as and when needed basis.

Kindly follow this and update after seven days for further evaluation of your progress made.

I hope this was helpful.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you.

This helps with anxiety, but to the extent that I am anxious, I go the opposite way. Not able to be around people, lethargic. I am tired to face or do anything. Maybe bipolar, but never diagnosed. My power is scanty. Kindly help me.

Hi,

Welcome back to ilciniq.com.

I would advise you to continue with the same medicine for few more days without any immediate change, as this is a sign of improvement. Apart from this if you can do few workouts and moderate exercise, which will help you a lot. If you are aware of meditation techniques, try once a day which will heal you. And update me after ten days of medication in the same manner.

I hope this was helpful.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
