Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have no medical history. I regularly go for a walk. However, my lipid profile test results are high. Please suggest why these are so high.

Do I need to use any medicine to maintain the lipid profile?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

I have checked all the attached reports (the attachments were removed to protect the patient's identity). There is no doubt that high lipid profile causes significant cardiovascular complications and requires strict diet control. You have high triglycerides and high cholesterol levels. Some possible causes include positive family history or consumption of unhealthy foods like junk food.

I suggest you take anti-lipid medications and repeat the test after one month.

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
