HSP stands for Henoch-Schonlein purpura, characterized by a purplish rash. Inflammation of the small blood vessels of the skin, intestines, joints, and kidneys raises the chances of bleeding in Henoch-Schonlein purpura, resulting in abdominal pain, joint pain, rarely kidney damage. Buttocks and lower legs are the most commonly affected areas. It usually heals on its own.
