Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My recent thyroid function test results showed a high TSH level of 169 uIU/ml, with T3, a Total of 0.23 ng/mL, and T4, a Total of 2.5 µg/dl. I am unable to consult a specialist for further advice. Could you please provide me with guidance on managing my thyroid levels and steps to improve my condition?

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to Icliniq.com.

I have gone through your case and I understand your concern.

Repeat thyroid function test after one month to check for hypothyroidism. If TSH( thyroid stimulating harmone )is still high, get an ultrasound of the neck for the thyroid. You may need to take daily thyroid medicine.

I hope this has helped you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
