Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I inquired last month about the source of my vaginal bleeding, and the doctor stated it was withdrawal bleeding. I started using I-pills around five months ago, however, there was no change in the frequency or regularity of my cycles. But recently, after getting my period taking an antidepressant resulted in withdrawal bleeding. I have been worrying a lot about my untimely periods, recently, after my period, taking an antidepressant.I took three pregnancy tests, each one week, to see if I was pregnant or not, but everything was normal. Also, my weight has suddenly increased, which is odd. Moreover, the face and legs have some sourness. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Reduce your I-pill (Levonorgestrel) intake and make plans for alternative forms of contraception. There is no need to worry about pregnancy because you took the I-pill. There might be an infection if there is a white discharge. Schedule an abdominal ultrasound because PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) may be the cause. Anemia may be the cause so look for hemoglobin levels. Check for folic acid, vitamin B, and vitamin D insufficiency, as it may be the cause. It might also be due to dehydration, so drink plenty of water. For the time being, you can take Livogen (folic acid and ferrous fumarate) once a night and wait for the investigation to be completed so that we can prepare for treatment.

I hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.

Patient's Query

Sir i am really sorry but you have to explain me something about my period cycle or guide me with emergency precautions or test Or should i go visit physical doc But u haven’t explained anything I hope when you reply that could really help me and release my tension

Hi I have explained multiple reasons for the issue and the tests that need to be taken for each issue separately. cause for the period cycle - due to medication ( ipill) or other reasons which need to be investigated - test names mentioned, only in case of bleeding its emergency - Investigate to know the cause for the issue if you have pain / bleeding need to see dr in person I'm sorry you are tense - since we are not meeting in person and have not examined the patient in person I need to think of multiple diagnoses unless I have adequate reports

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
