Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had itching in the groin and waist area for more than two years. My blood report shows an increased IgE level. I am allergic to prawns and crab. I took homeopathy medications but could not get satisfactory relief. Is it possible to reduce IgE levels with homeopathy treatment?

Kindly help.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thanks for the response.

I have increased IgE levels and urticaria from shell proteins like crab, prawn, etc., which settled after using Urtica urens. I was diagnosed with TB four years ago, from which my skin issues started. I guess that after taking DOTS medicine, my skin issues like tinea infection on my buttocks and groin area happened.

Now, again I got a tuberculosis infection. The lymph nodes in the abdominal region are swollen and did FNAC. Though the skin problems I had previously were not cured properly, after taking DOTS medicine, it got aggravated and more troubling. I took the following homeopathy medicine, namely Bacillinum, Sulphur, Hepar sulphur, and Rhus tox.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Based on the information provided by you and after reviewing the skin lesions (attachments removed to protect the patient’s identity).

I suggest you use the following medicines;

1) Apis mellifica dilution 30 CH twice daily for five days.

2) Pulsatilla Nigricans dilution 200 CH (Extracts of European wind flowering plant) once a week. And repeat on that particular day every week.

I advise you not to take any other homeopathic medicines other than this.

Kindly avoid all allergic foods, too spicy and fried items, eggs, egg plant, fish, mutton, and sour kinds of stuff for a few weeks and follow up after seven days of medication.

I wish you good health.

Thanks.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thanks for the reply.

I am continuing the medicines prescribed by you and today my itching got aggravated with tiny ring like swelling. Do I need a change in my medication?

Kindly help.

Answered by Dr. Deepak Dass

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I have noted the content of your follow up.

There is nothing to worry.

Kindly use Apis Mellifica 30 CH once daily for two days and update me thereafter.

Thanks.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

My prescribed medicine will be finished within three to four days. My six month course of TB medicine has been finished. My symptoms of skin allergy did not improve much. In the evening, my skin lesions on the buttocks region gets swollen with tiny pimples and comes to normal after three to four hours. This issue persisted even before taking medicines. Shall I continue that medicine?

Answered by Dr. Deepak Dass

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I reviewed the photographs attached and noted the content of your sufferings (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). Based on the above, kindly stop the medicine Apis Mel 30c once in three days after the medication is over and replace the medication with the followings: 1. Bovista 30C (five pills to make a dose or five drops if in liquid form. Mix with a little amount of water in a cup and take the solution). Take it once daily for five days. 2. Pulsatilla 200c - continue on a weekly basis for now.

Kindly update me after five days for the changes made.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Yesterday, I did a blood test for SGPT and IgE test given by the advice of my old family doctor and found my results to be very abnormal. I have attached the testimonials for your reference. Will these clinical values ever come to normal? Please guide.

Answered by Dr. Deepak Dass

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I reviewed your reports (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity) IgE values are very high as well SGPT (serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase). Kindly mention your symptomatic problem at present. Is there any skin lesions occurring over joint area or scalp or behind the ears? If you face them, please do mention the same. As these values indicate allergic reactions in the body, it can be due to high antibiotic use or drug reactions or due to developing psoriasis. However for now use : 1. Urtica urens 30c twice for three days. 2. Pulsatilla 200c to stop for now.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

No, I do not have any kind of skin lesions occuring over joint area or scalp or behind ears. I have skin lesions only over buttocks region, inner and outer thighs, and waist region.

Answered by Dr. Deepak Dass

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Ok noted. Continue with the new medications for three days and stop the rest of the medications, and update me thereafter.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
