Hi doctor,
I am a 48-year-old male. I never smoke. I pee approximately six to seven times a day, but I feel the need to go more often. I cannot pee slowly and do not have any blood in my urine. I am afraid that it could be bladder cancer. Please help.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
This is likely inflammation of the prostate rather than cancer. Cancer is not symptomatic. I suggest you will need urine analysis and ultrasound KUB for investigation. I suggest you can start tablet Ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice daily for two weeks and tablet Tamsulosin 0.4 mg once at night. Please follow up with the test result. If you have any more queries, please let me know.
I hope this helps.
