Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 24 years old. I have taken the tablet Inderal 40 mg daily for the past five years for anxiety disorder. Does the Inderal tablet work for anxiety disorder? Can I continue taking it? Still, I have an anxiety disorder, but it has improved. Does the tablet Inderal cause side effects like kidney failure or heart failure? I read about some side effects on the internet, so I have doubts about Inderal tablets. If I have to give a speech, how much dose is recommended? In the last five years, I took 120 mg to 160 mg whenever I had to give presentations. I have had social anxiety disorder for the past 12 years. My face and ears turn red whenever someone talks to me. Kindly recommend the best dosage, so I do not have any side effects.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have an anxiety disorder. You are taking the tablet Inderal 40 mg. It is a good and effective medication to deal with anxiety. Consult your doctor if you have any queries about your illness or medication. You are taking a high dose at the time of presentation. You should not take more than 80 mg daily to deal with your anxiety. I suggest you take the tablet Clonazepam 0.25 mg for it. Consult a specialist doctor, discuss with them, and take medications with their consent.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
