Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had a fever for three to four days and after that, I developed severe joint pain. The pain is not in one part, sometimes, I feel pain in the knees, ankles, shoulders and so on. What tablet can I take? However, there was no fever after that.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

It seems that you have inflammatory arthritis like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, or other types of arthritis.

To confirm this, I suggest you do certain blood tests like CBC (complete blood count), ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate), CRP (C-reactive protein), HLA B27 (human leukocyte antigen), serum uric acid, and X-ray of both knees (anteroposterior and lateral views).

I suggest you to follow the instructions mentioned below:

Take tablet Indomethacin (non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug) 25 mg thrice daily for ten days after food.

Take tablet Rabeprazole (antacid) 20 mg one tablet in the morning and night for ten days before food.

I suggest you visit a physician to consult about your condition.

Please avoid taking these tablets if you are a known patient of bronchial asthma.

I hope this was helpful.

Thanks and regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
