Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I always toss and turn on the bed at night. I do not get good sleep, so I wake up very tired in the morning. I cannot focus on my work after this, and I end up exhausted the whole day. Despite this exhaustion, if I go to bed, I do not fall asleep; instead, I end up lying on the bed with my eyes wide open, and frequent thoughts flash through my mind making it difficult to sleep.

Please advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Daily in the evenings, do some workout or go for a brisk walk or a jog for 45 minutes to one hour. Then go and have a bath. You will automatically get some sleep. If this is still ineffective, better go for counseling with a good psychiatrist for insomnia.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
