Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am not able to overcome the past experiences I have faced due to an orthodox family background. I am trying to compete in this big IT sector in a rat race but even after trying my best, I am not content, happy and satisfied. I have quite literally fought a battle with my family to get out and have an independent life and career. I am still fighting for many things but they seem to find ways to pressurize me into one thing or other, and the issue is that even after staying out, I bother and think over all this. I try and compete with everyone but due to my anger and aggression, I fail to make a place in people's heart. Kindly guide me on this and let me know if I can come for a session or consultation to your clinic.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Firstly, I would like to mention that sometimes you do not have control over the situations and what others do but what matters is how you cope with it. You are trying and only that matters. Regarding in-person consultation, you have to visit a nearby psychiatrist as a detailed evaluation is necessary. Certain things that can help are: Prevent yourself from acting out during anger episodes. Either do reverse counting from 20 to 0 or deep breathing from your diaphragm whenever you feel angry, practice relaxation techniques like breath relaxation exercise daily. Anulom vilom pranayama can help you in relaxing and eases your anxiety, give at least one hour daily for your hobbies to vent out your daily stress, maintain a stress diary and daily log down your thoughts uncensored and never read them again, and a good night time sleep is also essential for de-stressing. Remember, every problem has a solution you just need to try solving it and help is just a step away. Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
