Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I usually have irregular menstruation, and my T3 uptake was high this month which was seen on blood work; however, no medications have been given yet. I am menstruating for almost two weeks now, which is not normal, and when I pee, I have something come down that looks like tissue with a black spot (tiny blood clots). What could it be? Please help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thanks for trusting us about your healthcare.

I have gone through your history, and I understand your concern. I suggest It could be due to hormonal imbalance and urinary tract infection. I suggest you get urine examinations to rule out the possibility of urine infection and pelvic ultrasound to rule out the possible cause of your symptoms.

I hope you found it helpful. Feel free to ask for more information.

Good luck.

Regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your reply. However, how about the pictures I attached? Have you seen anything like that before, and could it be normal?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your pictures (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). I suggest it is most likely due to endometrium discharge. Sometimes endometrium get thickened due to hormonal imbalance. In your case, it could be due to hypothyroidism or some ovarian issues. So I suggest you get your investigations done, as we discussed before.

I hope you found it helpful. Feel free to ask for more information.

Good luck.

Regards.
