Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 22 years old. My height is 4'8", and weight is 99.21 Ibs. I have PCOD problem, but no thyroid. Now I missed my periods for three months. So, I am using kalarchikai with pepper everyday morning. I have been eating this for about 25 days now. How long should I take this for getting my period and make it regular?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I would like to help.

Kalarchikai choornam (Caesalpinia Bonducella) is a well-known medicine to manage PCOD. Its dose and duration depend on the condition. You should take this choornam 0.11 oz twice a day with warm water after meals for 90 days regularly.

Investigations to be done

USG abdomen.

Probable diagnosis

PCOD.

Treatment plan

Kalarchikai choornam 0.11 oz twice a day with warm water after meals.

Preventive measures

1. Avoid spicy and fried junk foods. 2. Drink plenty of lukewarm water. 3. Do regular kapalbhati Mandukasana and Ardha Matsyendrasana as well as pranayama like anuloma viloma nadi shodhan and bhramari.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
