Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have just started working. I do not like my job, as they do not pay me well. Every day I wake up, I have mood wings and feel like quitting. I had planned differently, but due to circumstances, I had to stick to this job only. I am trying other jobs, but I am getting impatient. And every interview I fail to clear makes me less confident. I do not want my career to end, and I do not want to go back home after leaving this job because I do not want others or my parents to think I am a loser.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand you are going through a difficult time, but you need to understand the fact that nothing is permanent. Sticking to this job and not finding another one is just a matter of time. Involve yourself in positive self-talk, boost your confidence, make some close friends, and share your feelings and thoughts with them. At the age of 22, only some have a job. If nothing still, this job adds experience to your profile and makes it stronger as compared to a fresher. Try some online platforms; if they offer you freelancing, do it. If you keep looking for opportunities, you will surely get them. Try deep breathing exercises, yoga, and dance. It will release endorphins in your brain and make you feel mentally and physically better. I hope this helps you.

Thank you.
