Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I was training my arms before two years. I was not able to get a response from the muscles. I did not get the pump when I used to get it every day and the pressure that went to my forearms was different. I saw changes in the shape of the biceps and the separation, details, and density were also different. Everything was fine when I trained my arms last time.

I consulted many chiropractors and they told me that it is normal. After a week, I started to have blurred vision, muscle weakness, trouble in concentration, trouble in sleeping, headache, washed-out feeling, and feeling restless even when I slept for ten hours. I felt tired always. I am using a lot of performance enhancing medicines to complete my everyday task. I am not feeling good. My trainer told me that it can be due to overworking of neurons. I feel hungry even when I take a lot of food and I am stressed when I get angry. Kindly suggest.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

To concise your problems, let me group them so as to make decisions easy and to have a better understanding. The first problem, you felt can be due to decreased power present on your biceps and it can be soft with less density. I do not know the exact reason in you for having blurred vision, feeling low, tired all the time, feeling hungry even after eating and stressed out. All these symptoms do not fit into a single syndrome and it does not fit into the muscle symptoms, eyes problems, low feeling, and headache in one disorder at your age. There is no overworking of neurons because these are brain cells and cannot be overworked. On trying to get a syndrome from all these symptoms, it leads to a kind of psychosomatic disorder and the mind is guiding these organs to give an appearance of the disease. You require some medication to prevent it and it may be a manifestation of anxiety and depression.

Treatment plan

Continue your exercise for muscles in moderation. Build a daily routine of relaxation, walks, working, and meeting friends. Do not discuss your problem with too many people. If you can do meditation it will be a great help. Take tablet Escitalopram 10 mg in the morning every day for ten days and decide further to increase the dose after seven days.

Regarding follow up

Review after 10 days

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

Can the neurotransmitters be overworked?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

No, the neurotransmitters will respond only to the changes in the neurons. Do not think too much about the activation of the neurons and all other things. Follow my advice and you will definitely benefit.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I will definitely do it. Why my biceps is unable to attain its full mobility? The look of the muscle has changed and the separation and density also got changed. I do not get the pump as I used to get.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

The biceps problem occurred due to training and exercise. Do the exercise with moderate range. Do not use performance-enhancing drugs and measure the girth of biceps at mid-level carefully. Record this every fifteen days.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I am not able to complete my daily tasks or even work when I am not using performance-enhancing drugs. I need to use them to do my work.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

This shows your psychological dependence. It causes a difficult situation. It is a good idea to decrease it gradually. Try to decrease it by fifteen percent of the total dose every week. You must do a dedicated effort.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
