Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had a LASIK surgery last year for specs removal because my spectacles' power was too high 8.75 in right and 7.25 in the left eye. But after that again my eye power reversed back in less than one year right 1.50 and left .50. But now last two months I had faced a problem just like a strong light when my eyes were examined but now when a low light came to my eye lower side like a mobile torch or sunlight why my eye nerves whole round visible to me it seems too scary and I am too nervous every time. And thinking about LASIK surgery was a totally worst decision of my life. Both eyes are now feeling weak. Is that true that my eyes' corneas are becoming weak and that is causing visible images of eye nerves? Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. The haloes or glare can happen in some patient's after undergoing LASIK surgery. This may reduce after wearing antiglare glasses and lubricating eyedrops. Regarding corneal weakness, I would suggest Pentacam test to assess corneal thickness which will give us idea about strength or thickness of your cornea. I hope this helps. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
