Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My wife is on Ayurvedic medicine for the last two months. Suddenly she has pains in the lower abdomen till foot. I tested metal toxicology, and lead is high approx 536 ug/L or 53 ug/dL. Suddenly we stopped the Ayurvedic medicine but do not know what is next. Kindly give your opinion.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com. This is pure lead toxicity. But I am not sure whether the cause is the Ayurvedic drug or some other vegetables or fruits (that are cultivated in the lead wastage lands or near industry lands). If you give the Ayurvedic drug name, we can see whether a lead is there or not. You need not panic. The toxicity is mild. Now, please visit an Allopathic doctor or hospital (doctor of medicine in general medicine). He can give a chelating injection, which will eliminate lead from your body safely. I hope this was helpful.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you.

We use Pushpadhanwa Ras two tablets daily and Nashtapushpantak Ras two tablets daily for two months. Please let me know if we do not go for Allopathic, and with the help of a natural diet, is it fine. Kindly give your opinion.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com. Those two Ayurvedic drugs have the lead. So, please stop these two drugs first. Allopathic chelating therapy can excrete the lead from the body within a week to a month. So, I am recommending you to go for Allopathic help in this matter. If you wish to go for herbal-based lead removal, you can consult the same physician who prescribed this drug. He can take care of you. Or visit Ayurveda hospital or Medical college, where you can get senior doctor's help. Till that time, I can suggest few simple remedies for you: 1) Druva grass (Cynodon Dactylon) 0.36 oz plus Betel leaf two plus Black pepper five. Cut and crush these herbals and add two cups of water. Boil for 20 minutes on low flame. Then filter and drink this decoction. Three times a day, after food, it should be consumed. So you can prepare this every time or prepare as a whole in the morning. It needs to be continued for three months. 2) Ash gourd juice daily morning before food, at 11 AM and 4 PM. Juice is compulsory. Additionally, you can cook and eat. 3) Bitter gourd should be cooked or fried and consumed daily at least one or two times. 4) Chicken soup or cooked can be consumed daily or alternate days. All the above methods can eliminate the lead from the body but work slowly take more than three months. If you wish to follow these, you start immediately. And after a month, check the lead level again and see how the effect of this. Then you can decide about continuing it. I hope this was helpful.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
