Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am not sure how long this has been going on, but I have these pink itch spots on my testicles. They dry up and peel some days. Sometimes it is bright pink. Other times it is just a grey spot. Usually, at night, they are extremely itch, and I cannot sleep.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Exactly how long it has been there? If not sure, then when you had noticed it? Any history of hypertension or diabetes mellitus? Any family history of psoriasis?

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

No history of hypertension or psoriasis to my knowledge. My maternal grandfather had diabetes, but I am not sure about the type.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You are suffering from Lichen simplex chronicus. I would advise you to use Clobetasol ointment twice daily for two weeks, followed by once daily for two weeks. Take tablet Xyzal M (Levocetirizine and Montelukast). If you want a permanent cure, you have to break the itch-scratch cycle by stop touching it. In most cases, it is harmless, but long-standing cases can have chances of squamous cell carcinoma. I hope this helps.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
