Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I have attached the images. Please check and suggest a treatment plan.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Thank you for sharing the picture (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity). It looks like lichen striatus, also known as blaschkoid dermatitis. It is commonly seen in children and has a recurrent course and presents as raised skin-colored, pink, or hypopigmented skin papules arranged in a linear distribution mainly on extremities. The condition is usually self-limiting and seen on one side of the body, like one leg or one arm. Please confirm it in the follow-up as you did not mention it. This condition is also more common with personal or family history of recurrent rhinitis, urticaria, dust allergies, asthma, or recurrent sneezing. I suggest you with the following treatment for three weeks. Use Tacroz forte 0.1% cream (Tacrolimus) and Cetaphil cream. Mix in the ratio of 1:1 and apply twice a day, and do a follow-up after three weeks. Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
