Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been experiencing a low-grade fever, low WBC count, and raised liver enzymes for the past five days. I have chronic interstitial cystitis and had pancreatitis a few months before. I also have had my gallbladder removed. However, my CT scan shows a prominence of the intra and extrahepatic biliary ductal system, indicating there was no change from before. Also, the bladder wall appears thickened. I am currently taking tablets Lamictal, Trazadone, Valium, Estrogen, and Belladonna. I have been so tired due to the fever for the past five days.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

Low-grade fever with low WBC (white blood cells) may be due to some subacute infection in the body. I suggest you to follow a few instructions mentioned below.

1. Drink plenty of water daily.

2. Take more salads and fruits.

3. Take vegetable soups regularly.

4. Take one tablet of Liv 52 (liver support supplement), twice a day for six weeks to improve liver function. Liv-52 consists of seven herbs including Capparis spinosa, Cichorium intybus, Mandur bhasma, Solanum nigrum, Terminalia arjuna, Cassia occidentalis, Achillea millefolium, and Tamarix gallica.

5. Take multivitamin supplements.

6. Continue your current medicines

7. Do some relaxation exercises like walking regularly.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk to them, take medications with their consent, and follow up after seven days.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for your reply.

Is the fever and tiredness not related to my biliary problems?

Kindly help.

Answered by Dr. Rajesh Jain

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

No, the fever and tiredness are related to biliary and bladder issues. The tablet Liv 52 (liver support supplement) will help to solve the biliary issues. In addition, plenty of water, a high-fiber diet, daily exercise, and walks will improve liver and pancreatic functions. Increase water intake and coriander juice to improve bladder function.

I suggest you follow up after seven days.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
