Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. Low libido has many reasons as follows:

1) Infections can be due to urine infection (can do complete urine examination and ultrasound pelvis) to diagnose the cause.

2) Diabetes and hypertension - Ensure blood pressure and blood sugar levels are controlled. If you are already under medication, kindly mention its name.

3) Hormonal disturbances - Low testosterone, low levels of thyroid, and high levels of prolactin may cause low libido. Therefore, I suggest you do a thyroid function test (TFT) and test for prolactin and testosterone levels.

4) Obesity - Plan for regular exercise and yoga.

5) High cholesterol - I suggest you check your lipid profile.

6) Chronic disease.

7) Anxiety can also cause libido issues.

I suggest you do USG (ultrasonography) pelvis to rule out pelvic infection. In addition, I suggest you tablet Mildfil (Tadalafil) 5 mg twice daily as a temporary solution.

Kindly revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.
