Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had intercourse, and I am having lower abdomen pain. It was ten days back. I had light bleeding during the intercourse. Now I have pain near the clitoris area and over the labia lips.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your symptoms can be due to,

  • Dryness caused by infection, improper foreplay, dehydration, age factor, or hormonal imbalance. You can try a natural way of increasing lubrication like increased foreplay or can use lubricant gel.
  • Injury due to dryness or deep penetration in a few positions during sex.
  • Local Infection.
  • Vaginismus caused by fear during sex. The muscles in the genital area can contract and cause pain to both partners. You may need to increase foreplay duration to reduce anxiety and bring comfort.
  • History of surgery in the genital region.
  • Injury of the cervix by penis.

Kindly share pictures or more details regarding the above issue. We can work on diagnosis and management.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
