Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had reddish lumps on my penis without pain for one week. What should I do?

Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Painless, non-itchy red pumps can be due to inflammation of the skin or a reaction due to products used to wash the body. It would have been much better if you took a photo to show it to me. Treatment should be using Betnovate cream (Betamethasone Valerate) twice a week. Kindly share the photos for better assessment. Please let me know if you also have any other queries

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Please find the attached images. The position of the pimples is beneath the penis and the bottom side of the shaft. Both were just lumps, and the white appearance only happened today.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I have reviewed the attached images (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity), and they look like pustules. You can take the tablet Augmentin 1 gm twice daily for one week. You can consult your specialist doctor and take medications with their consent. It is due to inflammation of hair follicles. If you had sexual contact recently, please do an STD (sexually transmitted disease) screening test as well; otherwise no need.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
