Common "Lymphocytosis" queries answered by top doctors | iCliniq

Lymphocytosis

Lymphocytosis occurs when there is increased production of lymphocytes in the body than the normal range. Lymphocytosis occurs in cases of acute viral infections, such as infectious mononucleosis, hepatitis, cytomegalovirus infection, toxoplasmosis, tuberculosis, and brucellosis. The symptoms are fever, loss of appetite, weight loss, shortness of breath, fatigue, and fullness of the stomach. To reduce its count, it is necessary to take vitamin C, antioxidants, and omega-3 fatty acids in the diet. It is good to avoid taking foods rich in sugar, fat, and salt.
