Management Of Insect Bite

An insect bite is a small red mark produced by the bite of the insect. Initially, wash the affected region with soap and water. Apply a cold compress or an ice pack over the swelling. Raising or elevating the affected area reduces swelling. Bites providing allergies require emergency care.
