Common "Accutane" queries answered by top doctors | iCliniq

Accutane

Accutane (Isotretinoin) comes under a group of drugs called Retinoids. It is a derivative of Vitamin A. It helps to treat acne that does not show a response to other treatment options. It works by preventing sebum production on the face, as increased sebum production causes acne. In untreated cases, it results in permanent scarring.
