Atrioventricular Block

An atrioventricular block is a heart block caused by blockage or impairment of electrical signals from the atria to the ventricles. The blockage is caused due to fibrosis or sclerosis of the heart muscles, coronary artery disease, increased vagal tone, genetic disorders, electrolyte imbalance, heart surgery, etc. Tiredness, chest pain, decreased heart rate, fatigue, fainting, etc., are the symptoms of atrioventricular block.
