Cefpodoxime

Cefpodoxime is a Cephalosporin antibiotic used against a broad spectrum of bacterial infections, inhibiting bacterial growth. However, it does not affect viral infections. It should be taken orally twice daily along with food to aid in enhanced absorption. Stomachache, watery or bloody diarrhea, fever, sore throat, oral ulcers, joint pain, seizures, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, etc., are the side effects of taking this drug.
