Exertional Headache

Exertional headache occurs after physical activity, such as coughing, sneezing, and activities like running. They are of two types, primary exertional headache and secondary exertional headache. Primary exertional headache occurs due to physical activity and is usually harmless. Secondary exertional headache occurs after a physical activity due to some health conditions, such as tumors. A throbbing headache, vomiting, loss of consciousness, and double vision are some common symptoms observed. Taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs helps to reduce it.
