Common "Fallopian Tube Block" queries answered by top doctors | iCliniq

Fallopian Tube Block

When the fallopian tube gets blocked, the sperm cannot get to the egg to fertilize it, and the fertilized egg will not be able to reach the uterus for implantation. When both the fallopian tubes are blocked, it causes infertility. Some of the conditions that can result in a blocked fallopian tube are pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, ectopic pregnancy, fibroids, and abdominal surgeries.
