Common "Hemorrhagic Cyst" queries answered by top doctors | iCliniq

Hemorrhagic Cyst

A hemorrhagic cyst is a condition that occurs when a normal functioning cyst in the ovaries bursts or has a hemorrhage. Some of these damaged cysts can cause severe bleeding. Blood loss can affect the normal blood flow in the organs. In most cases, the cyst goes away by itself in a few weeks or months. If the cyst causes unbearable pain in the pelvis or other symptoms, then a surgery is opted.
