Methoxsalen is a drug used in adjuvant with ultraviolet A (UVA) light to treat skin conditions such as psoriasis and vitiligo. Such drugs are known as psoralens. These come in tablet and ointment forms. People with high blood pressure and liver diseases are contraindicated from using Methoxsalen. Blisters, photosensitivity, and burns are its side effects.
