Common "Myalgia" queries answered by top doctors | iCliniq

Myalgia

Myalgia is known as pain affecting a muscle or a group of muscles. It is often caused due to stress, injuries, overuse of muscles, tension, illness, infection, and a side effect of medications. The common signs and symptoms are dull aching pain on the muscles, joint pain, fatigue, fever, and chills while having an infection. Taking pain-relieving medications and applying ice on the affected region helps to reduce it. Giving rest and gentle stretching also helps a lot.
