Nash

NASH stands for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis. There is liver inflammation with a buildup of fat in the liver. It is caused due to diabetes, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, metabolic syndrome, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and sleep apnea. The symptoms of NASH are swelling in the legs, loss of appetite, and yellow discoloration in the skin and eyes. It can cause cirrhosis of the liver.
