Pancreatic Tumour

Pancreatic tumors include exocrine tumors, endocrine tumors, pancreatoblastoma, sarcoma, lymphoma, and benign cysts (intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms and cystadenomas). Adenocarcinoma is the most common type, followed by acinar cell carcinoma. Symptoms include fatigue, abdominal pain, appetite loss, dark urine, jaundice, back pain, etc., that occur in the advanced stage. Risk factors include smoking, obesity, pancreatitis, etc. Though the exact cause is unknown, mutations are attributed. Therefore, maintaining a healthy diet and weight and refraining from harmful habits like smoking can help prevent the disease.
