Polycystic Ovary Syndrome or PCOS is a hormonal problem, commonly seen in women in the reproductive age group. This hormonal imbalance causes irregular periods, heavy menstrual bleeding, facial hair, weight gain, male-pattern baldness, etc. Here, due to the formation of many fluid-filled follicles in the ovaries, there is a failure to release eggs regularly.
