Rh Incompatibility

When the fetus's Rhesus (Rh) protein is different from the mother's Rh protein, it is called Rh incompatibility. Rh incompatibility symptoms seen in the baby include hemolytic disease (RBC are destroyed), increased bilirubin, yellowish discoloration of the skin and sclera (jaundice), lethargy, and decreased muscle tone.
