Semen or seminal fluid is secreted collectively by seminal vesicles (60%), bulbourethral glands, and prostate glands (40%). The secretion of seminal vesicles is viscous and gelatinous, bulbourethral glands are clear and colorless, and the prostate is milky. Semen consists of sperms, proteolytic enzymes, other enzymes, fructose, citric acid, phosphorus, potassium, prostaglandin, calcium sodium, zinc, fibrinolysin, and amino acids.
