Common "Surgery Healing" queries answered by top doctors | iCliniq

Surgery Healing

Surgery healing is possible by keeping the wound clean and covered. It involves four stages. The first stage starts with stopping the bleeding, followed by clotting with blood. Blood vessels get narrow, and platelets clump together in the wound. Then fibrin is formed with inflammation. Once the damage is cleaned, the body starts to rebuild the injured site. After this stage, the injury gets repaired by maturation.
