Tetanus Toxoid Vaccine

Tetanus is an infection caused due to Clostridium tetani. There are four vaccines available to protect us from tetanus. They are diphtheria and tetanus vaccine (Dt), diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis vaccination (DtaP), tetanus and diphtheria vaccination (Td), and tetanus, pertussis, and diphtheria vaccination (Tdap). Children below seven years get DtaP or Dt vaccination while older peoples get Tdap and Td vaccination.
