Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have ear pain going all the way down to my foot. I also have vertigo and tinnitus. It has been two years. I feel constant pressure around ear and nerve twitches in whole body. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your problem. As you say you have radiating ear pain along with pressure around the ear and vertigo and tinnitus. There can be many reasons to this. Have you got any checkup done? If not I feel right away you will need the following investigations: 1) Pure tone audiometry 2) Tympanometry.

Based on the results of these two investigations, I can further guide you as to need for any more tests or treatment. Meanwhile, I will suggest you the following medicines:

1) Tablet Febrex plus (Phenylephrine) one tablet twice a day after food. 2) Tablet Neurobion one tablet once a day. 3) Steam inhalation. 4) Tablet Vertin (Betahistine) 16 mg twice a day after food.

If symptoms does not resolve; you may need a neurologist's opinion as well. However, as of now get the above tests done.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
