Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My daughter is 13 months old. I just noticed big yellowish sag at the place of her first molar gum. I am much worried. Please help me.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You should put your finger inside her mouth and check if it is moving or if it has a fluid filled inside the swelling. We need to first confirm whether it is any foreign body. I mean like anything which sticks in her mouth, so put your finger and manually touch it to see if it is moving. If it is a water filled swelling, then it can be a cyst, which needs to be removed. Did she eat anything unusual or something which might have injured her mouth? You should visit pedodontist (child specialist) soon for a physical evaluation. If possible, send a zoomed picture of that area.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

When I touched it, I got to know that it is some foreign object. Thank you very much and I am really sorry for my panic reaction.
