Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 55 year old male. I am 5'8" tall and my weight is 152.12 Ibs. I am suffering from piles over three years but there is no bleeding. I constantly have some sensation in anus which troubles me while walking. I am noticing my right wrist and feet with swelling almost daily morning. My BP was high around 160-200 over three to four years but now it is normal. My blood sugar is normal. In urine test, sugar and albumin are absent, pus cells 1/2 hpf and epithelial cell occ. Serum glucose was 110 mg. Currently, I am using Pilorute cream and capsule Hamdoroid. But, it is not so beneficial. My doctor suggested surgery but I am not ready for it. Please suggest a remedy.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

  • How is your bowel movement now? Do you have constipation? It is better for you to use western toilet.
  • Avoid curds, non-vegeterian, green chilly, deep fried and spicy foods from your diet.
  • Do sitz bath after passing stools every day to keep your genital and anal region clean.
  • Apply Kasisadi taila (Iron sulphate oil) with cotton over the piles twice a day.
  • Take two tablets of Kankayan vati after food twice daily with warm water.
  • Include onions, buttermilk, suvarna gadde (yam) in your diet. Drink warm water.
  • Do regular check up for blood pressure and sugar without fail. Revert back after 15 days for a follow up.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I do not feel any relief even after taking the medicines which you have prescribed. Still I am having a sensation in my anus. I am taking proper diet as per your advice. But, I could not find the reason behind it.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

  • How about pile mass? Do you find any difference in the anal region?
  • What sensation exactly you are having now in the anus? Itching or pricking or cutting pain?
  • Do you feel to visit toilet again and again?

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am taking Abhayarista, Triphala churna and Arsh kalp ointment as per your advice from last 15 days. I have got some relief but constipation is still troubling me. Again, I am having difficulty in passing stools. I am taking lunch late around 3 pm. Gastric trouble is too much. Kindly tell me the way to get rid of constipation permanently.

Answered by Dr. Revathi. T. S.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

  • You can use Abhayarista 4 teaspoon instead of 3 teaspoon.
  • You can try finding Yashtimadhu eranda yamaka, if you do not get this medicine take castor oil 1/2 teaspoon with hot water at bedtime. Be careful while taking the dose as it may cause drastic purgation.
  • Soak 10 raisins in water night-time, crush it next day morning and drink along with the water.
  • Boil 1 teaspoon of jeera in 1 liter of water and use this water for drinking instead of normal water.
  • In your next query please mention your diet pattern in detail.
