Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I menstruated last month and, with consultation, took Regestrone 10 mg for five days. I did not get my period yet. Could you please help?

Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

The probable cause is polycystic ovarian syndrome. I suggest you go for an ultrasound abdomen and pelvis. You need to take a combined oral contraceptive pill for 21 days, and then following that, you will get your periods. Take each tablet at the same time without missing even one day. If you miss a pill, take it as soon as you remember, even if it means taking two pills in one day. If you miss taking more than two pills or have doubts about taking two pills daily, consult your gynecologist. Buy one strip of this tablet.

I hope this information will help.

Thanks.
