Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 20 year old female. I have a severe pulsating headache from the past 20 days, dizziness and nausea when exposed to sunlight or bright light, sensitive to harsh sounds, eye pain, and mild ear pain.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Is it half-sided? If yes, it is likely a migraine headache.

How frequent is this? If this is too frequent then I suggest starting some medicine on a day to day basis for prevention.

Have you tried Paracetamol 650 mg for pain relief? If this is giving relief then you can have it whenever needed up to two to three times a day. Otherwise, I suggest Sumatriptan 50 mg with the earliest onset of headache and look for a response.

For nausea, you may take tablet Emeset (Ondansetron) 4 mg whenever needed up to two times a day. Consult a specialist doctor, discuss with him or her and start taking the medicines with their consent.

Sleep in a calm environment during the episode of headache. Hope this helps you and get back with some information or have any doubts.
