Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 19 year old female. Is it normal to get two migraines in a day, within nine hours of each other? I have been getting them more often in the last few months, roughly once a month for the last six months. But all of a sudden, I have gotten two today.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

A migraineis an episodic primary headache. If a headache is throbbing, with moderate to severe pain, usually on one side of the head, and associated with nausea and vomiting, it is known a migraine. Once it appears, typically it lasts for 4 to 72 hours based on its severity. So the attack may occur twice, thrice or more in a day. The major triggers of migraine are Stress and anxiety, sinusitis, changes in food habits, high salt intake, and intake of more soft foods or cold foods. It can be confirmed with a CT (computerized tomography) scan, MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scan, or an X-ray of the sinuses. You can manage it through Ayurvedic medicines once it is diagnosed as a migraine. Do meditation to relax your mind and avoid stress. Avoid smoking and drinking, and cold or spicy foods.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
