Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I had protected intercourse two months back and took Unwanted 72 after two days. I got bleeding two and a half weeks after the intercourse. My periods usually occur around the end of every month, and I still did not get my periods. I underwent a pregnancy test, and it was negative. Is there any chance of me getting pregnant? Kindly give your suggestions.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com

Thanks for trusting us with your health care. I have gone through your history and understand your concerns. Menstrual irregularities in your case could be due to hormonal imbalance caused by an I-pill (Levonorgestrel). As you took the I-pill on time, there is no chance of pregnancy in your case. So wait and watch for your menses, and get your home urine pregnancy test seven days after your missed period date. I hope you found this helpful. Feel free to ask for more information.

Regards.
