Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I consulted a cardiac specialist and got an echocardiogram; the doctor said everything was normal, but the result showed mild AML (anterior mitral leaflet) prolapse. Kindly help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern. The echocardiogram results are normal. However, mild MVP (mitral valve prolapse) is of no concern and is sometimes reversible. Gaining weight in low-weight people will help to resolve this. As your weight is low, it will be good to gain some weight for MVP and general health. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
